Two USU faculty members will be playing vintage 78 rpm records on their Victrola phonographs.

Follow three individuals working on the frontline of China’s foray into Africa. Described by The Times as “a rare grassroots view into one of the most important economic challenges of our age.” Treats will be provided!

Evolution of the Jazz Revolution, Saturday, Mar 03 – 10:00AM to 4:00PM

Saturday, March 3, 2012, the USU Museum of Anthropology invites you to get ready for a toe tapping good time as we explore jazz music, from its roots to its influence on modern musical trends. At noon and 2 p.m. come listen to one of USU’s jazz bands and learn a few dance steps you can use to impress your friends. A presentation on the history of jazz music will be available at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Patrons will also have the chance to make their own musical instruments!
